The Spot Challenge features 30 shots per round at 20 yards. Compete in a class based on your age and the type of equipment being used. Shoot to compete for a trophy or money. You can shoot qualifying rounds as many times as you like, but you pay for each round you shoot. The top qualifier each day, will advance to the finals, competing for free on the second weekend of the show.
Pre-registration guarantees you a spot on the line at the time you would like to shoot, but walk-ins are also welcome. The course takes about 1 hour to complete in the Archery Range Hall, so be sure to plan accordingly.
Contestants and their families MUST purchase a ticket to the GAOS in order to gain entrance for the Spot Challenge. Participants who make it to the finals will be given a complimentary ticket. If you pre-register for the early shoot times and pre-purchase your show ticket, you can enter through any entrance ½ hour before the show opens to bring your archery equipment to Archery Range Hall.
