Booth spaces larger than 20'x20' will need to submit the Sportshow Electrical Grid Layout Form (found in your Exhibitor Manual) to identify drop locations. If higher voltage and/or three phase power is needed, please submit the Booth Electricity Order Form also found in your Exhibitor Manual.

Breech loading firearms displayed and accessible to attendees with the intent to allow attendees to handle the firearms and work all or part of their actions, must be deactivated by removal of the firing pin or other alteration so they are rendered incapable of firing. Locks must remain installed and locked on the firearms for the duration of the Show. Firearms will be inspected before the Show by an authorized safety advisor. Firearms inspections will take place the evening of Friday, February 2nd and before the Show opens on Saturday. Infractions will be reported to both the Exhibitor and Show Management. All infractions must be corrected before the exhibitor's display will be allowed to open.

How do I book my hotel?

What if a non-official Contractor contacts me? Can I use them?

Companies not affiliated with GAOS may reach out to you in order to solicit your business. This is happening most aggressively with housing companies. Please note that we do not use an official housing company for GAOS and any company that implies they are the official housing contractor is being deceitful. We work directly with area hotels to negotiate low rates for you. To browse area hotels, please click here

Who are the main contractors? What do they provide?

General Exposition Services is the Official Service Contractor for the Show, providing material handling, furniture rental, carpeting, labor, and more.

The PA Farm Show Complex provides electric.

Comcast provides telephone and internet.

How do I pay for services?

To pay for services provided by General Exposition Services, you must complete their Payment Authorization form, found in the Exhibitor Manual. Credit Card information must be on file before any goods or services will be rendered.

Other contractors will ask for payment on their order forms or respective websites.

What is Material Handling?

Material Handling is the moving of materials from point A to point B. Whether your materials are sent in advance to the Service Contractor's warehouse or directly to Show site, they still need to get to your booth after the carrier drops them off. Paying for handling entitles you to have your freight brought to your booth from the loading dock, empty containers stored during the Show, empty containers returned to your booth at the close of the Show, and your freight carried back to the loading dock and loaded onto the carrier at the conclusion of the Show. Then you arrange for a carrier to pick up your exhibit materials for transport to the next destination. There is usually a 200 pound minimum per shipment charge for material handling.

How do I ship my materials to the PA Farm Show Complex?

General Exposition Services is prepared to receive your shipment either in advance at their warehouse or directly at the Show site. You may ship via the carrier of your choice. You may ship in advance to the General Exposition Services warehouse until Friday, January 26, 2018. Shipments may be delivered direct to Show site beginning Tuesday, January 30 at 12:00pm.

For shipping labels and rates, please check your Exhibitor Manual.

Can I bring my booth materials using my personal vehicle?
