DockDogs returned in 2018 in the Large Arena with furry friends, plenty of spectators and a big splash of fun!
Over the course of the event there were 91 dogs hailing from over 10 different states, competing in 289 total waves of jumps into a pool that holds 27,000 gallons of water!
Dogs run down a 40' dock and dive into a pool of water after an object. They are judged for length of their jump.
Extreme Vertical
Dogs compete in a high jump, lunging to snag a "bumper" suspended in the air. With each grab, the height increases in 2-inch increments until one dog is crowned king!
Speed Retrieve
Dogs are put on a clock to see how fast they can run down the dock, jump in the water, swim to the end of the pool and retreive an object which is held by a modified extender arm.
