First Aid Essentials in the Field

This is the one workshop that may save a life! Trauma medical training is the most valuable training anyone can receive, and it really should be the first step in firearms training.  Many people that have firearms understand that they are responsible for their own safety and security. They know that when help is 10 minutes away, seconds count. Many deaths that result from injuries could be prevented if those injuries are properly treated within 3-5 minutes, but you must have the right training and equipment for the best chance of survival. If you carry a gun, hunt, drive a car, or have kids, you really don’t want to miss this. We will discuss life saving techniques, equipment, and training recommendations.

This will also be a preview of the brand new 2 day NRA Emergency Casualty Care Course being offered in 2017.  This is a 2 day course developed by experienced SOCOM medics that introduces the best evidence-based, life-saving techniques developed on the battlefield for providing emergency trauma care. The skills learned in this course are the same life saving techniques taught to U.S. Special Operations units but are specifically tailored for addressing civilian emergency situations.
