How do I purchase tickets for the Great American Outdoor Show?
We recommend you purchase tickets online prior to the Show, or at the Show itself from one of our ticket booths.
A daily ticket is good for any one day of the show. Two day tickets are good for any two days of the show, and do not need to be used consecutively.

Can I purchase firearms and ammunition at the Show?
Ammunition sales are permitted at the Great American Outdoor Show. Firearm sales are not permitted on the premises. Certified dealers will be permitted to take firearm orders at the show. Order pickup must take place offsite.
Are dogs/pets allowed?
Dogs are not permitted at the Show unless they are for the following purposes:
The dog is participating in a dog training seminar with one of our seminar speakers.
Dock Dogs Competitive Jumping Dogs
Exhibitor Pets – the dog must remain in the exhibitors booth at all times and on a leash when entering or leaving the building for any reason
All Service Dogs must be certified and must remain on a leash at all times.
All other live animals are not permitted in the Show
Is concealed carry permitted?
Concealed carry of personal firearms is permitted in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex with the proper license in accordance with Pennsylvania law. When carrying your firearm, always adhere to all federal, state and local laws.
Are back packs permitted?
Yes, back packs are permitted at the Great American Outdoor Show and may be searched by security personnel at any time
Are scooters available for rent?
Electric scooters will be available for rent during the Great American Outdoor Show. They will be located in the Cameron Street Lobby next to the escalators. You can reserve a scooter online through Scootaround. Scooter rental is $50 and Wheelchair rental is $25.
Where is handicapped parking?
Handicapped parking is located in front of the Shooting Sports Hall. Use the main entrance off of Wildwood Park Dr.
Where does the Shuttle pick up from the Harrisburg Mall?
The free shuttle from the Harrisburg Mall picks up at the 2nd floor entrance at Bass Pro Shop and drops off at the Maclay Street entrance
Will there be food available at the Show?
Yes. Food will be available for purchase at the Show. There is a large cafe in the Shooting Sports Hall and in the lower concourse of the Large Arena. There is also the PA Preferred Dining area on the second floor. There will also be several snack and beverage vendors located in each hall throughout the Show.
Where can I park overnight?
There is no overnight parking allowed at the PA Farm Show Complex. There are several nearby RV Campgrounds if you're staying in your RV.
Are there any special hotel rates in the area that are recommended?

What are the best days to attend the Show?
All days of the show are equally exciting and fun, but we recommend that you consult the Explore the Show tab to see the Seminar and Event Schedules. Typically Fridays Saturdays are the busiest days and we recommend that you follow us on Facebook and Twitter for real-time updates.
How long will it take to see all the exhibits?
The Show is 650,000 Sq. Ft. of exhibition space with more than 1,000 exhibitors. To thoroughly see the entire show we recommend you plan to attend at least 2 days.
What if there's bad weather?
It is highly unlikely that the Show would close, but with extreme weather, a delayed opening is possible. In situations of bad weather, visit the website or follow us on the Facebook and Twitter for the most up-to-date information on Show hours.
The Great American Outdoor Show is a nine-day event celebrating hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions that are treasured by millions of Americans and their families. The show features over 1,100 exhibitors ranging from shooting manufacturers to outfitters to fishing boats and RV’s, and archery to art covering 650,000 square feet of exhibit hall space!
