How do I purchase tickets for the Great American Outdoor Show?

We recommend you purchase tickets online prior to the Show, but you can purchase tickets at the Show from one of our ticket booths.

A daily ticket is good for any one day of the show. Two day tickets are good for any two days of the show, and do not need to be used consecutively.

Short on time? Take advantage of the Afternoon Ticket, good Monday-Thursday (2/8-2/11) - and just $8! 

Tickets are on sale mid-November, 2021.

 

What is the COVID-19 policy?

The PA Farm Show Complex follows the CDC Guidance for Indoor Events.  NO proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to attend and there is not a mask mandate.  In accordance with CDC Guidance for indoor events, everyone 2 years or older attending events at The Farm Show Complex is encouraged to wear a mask. By attending the Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS) you are acknowledging that an inherent risk to exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  By attending the GAOS, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold the National Rifle Association, the PA Farm Show Complex and any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.   

Will I be required to wear a mask?

No, you will not be required to wear a mask.  In accordance with the CDC Guidance for indoor events, everyone 2 years or older attending events at The Farm Show Complex are recommended to wear a mask. Will I be required to be vaccinated to attend GAOS 2022?

-In accordance with current Pennsylvania requirements, as of the date last updated above, vaccines are NOT required for the PA Farm Show Complex.

What is the PA Farm Show Complex doing to encourage the safety for all who attend and exhibit at the Great American Outdoor Show?

Updated 1/17/2022 

  • Prior to the arrival of the Great American Outdoor Show, facility air filters will be changed which will allow for better air circulation and cleaner air. They will also be opening the overhead doors overnight to introduce new air into the building for the next day.
  • High-touch areas will be sanitized throughout the day upon show opening.
  • Bathrooms, food service areas, and door handles will be cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be located in multiple locations within the complex including but not limited to bathrooms, food service areas, and entrances.
  • Exhibitors are encouraged to have sanitizer available in their booths.
  • GBAC Accreditation-The PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center has completed the GBAC certification program.  The accreditation will demonstrate correct work practices, procedures and systems to prepare, respond and recover from outbreaks and pandemics. Our staff is trained to use proper cleaning protocols, disinfection techniques, and work practices to minimize risks associated with infectious diseases and biohazards.
  • Masks are strongly recommended for everyone inside the Farm Show Complex, in accordance with CDC guidance. If you are feeling sick, showing symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19, please refrain from attending.
  • The PA Farm Show Complex will continue to monitor the CDC’s recommendations and will make adjustments as necessary.

I didn't receive my ticket via email. What do I do?

Click here and eTix will resend you the ticket email. 

Will there be a concert in conjunction with the show this year?

There is not a concert in conjunction with the show this year. The plan is to schedule a concert for the 2023 show.

Can I purchase firearms and ammunition at the Show?

Ammunition sales are permitted at the Great American Outdoor Show. Firearm sales are not permitted on the premises. Licensed dealers will be permitted to take firearm orders at the show. Order pickup must take place offsite.

Are dogs/pets allowed?

Dogs are not permitted at the Show unless they are for the following purposes:

  • The dog is participating in a dog training seminar with one of our seminar speakers.
  • Dock Dogs Competitive Jumping Dogs
  • All Service Dogs must be certified and must remain on a leash at all times.
  • All other live animals are not permitted in the Show

Is concealed carry permitted?

Concealed carry of personal firearms is permitted in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex with the proper license in accordance with Pennsylvania law. When carrying your firearm, always adhere to all federal, state and local laws.

Are back packs permitted?

Yes, back packs are permitted at the Great American Outdoor Show and may be searched by security personnel at any time

Can I bring a stroller?

Yes, the Great American Outdoor Show is family friendly; you may bring a stroller.

Are scooters available for rent?

Electric scooters will be available for rent during the Great American Outdoor Show. They will be located in the Cameron Street Lobby next to the escalators. A link will be posted early fall where you may reserve your scooter in advance.

Where is handicapped parking?

Handicapped parking is located in front of the Shooting Sports Hall. Use the main entrance off of Wildwood Park Dr.

What celebrities will be at the Show and when/where will they be?

Outdoor celebrity appearances and event times will be posted soon. All celebrity appearances and events are subject to change.

Will there be food available at the Show?

Yes. Food will be available for purchase at the Show. There is a large cafe in the Shooting Sports Hall and in the lower concourse of the Large Arena. There is also the PA Preferred Dining area on the second floor. There will also be several snack and beverage vendors located in each hall throughout the Show. 

Where can I park overnight?

There is no overnight parking allowed at the PA Farm Show Complex. There are several nearby RV Campgrounds if you're staying in your RV. 

Where is Lost & Found at the Complex?

The Lost & Found Desk will be located at the Security Desk in the Cameron Street Lobby.

Are there any special hotel rates in the area that are recommended?

Yes! We have put together a list of preferred hotels in the Harrisburg Region, click here and under "View Details" for specific hotel information.

Where is the First Aid Office located?

First Aid offices are located in the Main Hallway between the Shooting Sports Hall and the Archery Hall, and in the Tan Hallway between the Outfitter Hall and the Fishing Hall.

What are the best days to attend the Show?

All days of the show are equally exciting and fun, but we recommend that you consult the Explore the Show tab to see the Seminar and Event Schedules. Typically Fridays Saturdays are the busiest days and we recommend that you follow us on Facebook and Twitter for real-time updates.

How long will it take to see all the exhibits?

The Show is 650,000 Sq. Ft. of exhibition space with more than 1,000 exhibitors. To thoroughly see the entire show we recommend you plan to attend at least 2 days.

Is there free Wi-Fi?

Yes, there is free Wi-Fi at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. The password is farmshow.

What if there's bad weather?

It is highly unlikely that the Show would close, but with extreme weather, a delayed opening is possible. In situations of bad weather, visit the website or follow us on the Facebook and Twitter for the most up-to-date information on Show hours.

Great American Outdoor Show
